“So, who are you anyway?”

Oh, I was supposed to know that already?

You figured you’d just click that link and I’d be able to tell you all my amazing credentials, why I’m the authority on some subject, or the expert in my field.

Isn’t the answer always a little more complicated than that?

The truth of the matter is, I’m the same as you: I woke up one day with big ideas to change the world and realized it’s easier said than done. I bit off more than I could chew. The stars weren’t always aligned, but if I could dream it, I could do it. Okay, enough clichés.

Flash forward to homeownership. That’s why you’re here any way.

I’m twenty-something years old (side note: I always thought that was such an annoying way to refer to your age when I was a little younger, but it’s like, for real, you start to lose track). I’m living in the first home I was able to purchase, and it’s probably because I have been obsessed with real estate since I was a kid.

You see, my parents raised me in a real estate office. There were always Homes & Land magazines strewn across our dining room table or in the back seat of the car. There were showings to tag along on, and even properties to visit for ourselves.

I distinctly remember flipping through those magazines and envisioning myself walking out on the balcony of some multi-million dollar oceanfront estate, taking in the fresh scent of the salty waves crashing below. I would fantasize about what my shopping mall-size closet would look like, never running out of something to wear to one of my many fancy social obligations.

I decided very early on this would be something I had my hands on.

So, I’m taking you on my journey and sharing as I go: teaching what I’ve learned, discrediting the folks who believe “millennials will amount to nothing,” and giving an inside look at how I see the world from my perspective (sometimes literally).

I promise to include all of your (well, my) favorite content:

– Real Estate

– Building your personal wealth

– How to: (mortage, credit, invest, etc.)

– Flipping homes

– Before & afters

– Entrepreneurs/really awesome people doing really awesome things

– What it’s like to live in Chicago

– & heavy pours of sauvignon blanc

Plus, I love the idea of being able to interact with you. So comment away, ask questions, and request content. Most importantly, take something you learn and go apply it to your life. Never be idle.

xx
