Situated at 4334 N Hazel St, The Montrose is a perfect example of post-modern architecture. Built in 1981 and completely rehabbed in 2015, this Waterton-managed property has brought new life to the Uptown neighborhood in recent years.

In the lobby you’re greeted by 24-hour staff and soaring ceilings – a true wow-factor for your guests.

There are three distinct styles of homes offered within the building: The Lofts, The Tower Residences, and The Town Homes (not pictured). Each has a distinct personality and it’s own unique perks.

And can we talk about VALUE with these amenities for just a sec…

Multiple co-working spaces with free super high-speed WiFi, a freakin’ outdoor POOL, designated package receiving room, bike room, management and maintenance on-site – the list goes on!

Why I love this building:
– With so many options, you’re bound to find something that makes sense for you
– TONS of closets in the one and two bedroom tower units
– Need more wine? Jewel-Osco is literally in the building
– Did I mention there are BALCONIES?! #viewsfordays
– Tower apartments have designated dining space
– Pet friendly with private resident-only dog park
– If you don’t get a unit with laundry, the common laundry is HUGE and pristine clean
– Close to the Wilson Red Line which just finished an amazing renovation
– Uptown Theater currently undergoing a renovation and will open in a year or so
What’s not so great about this building:
– Parking is steep for the neighborhood at $200/mo
– Window AC units in the tower apartments
– Two bed kitchens are galley style (not open)

The Montrose is a Waterton property and listed with The Apartment Source Chicago. If you’d like more information or to schedule a tour, please contact me and we’ll get right in!
